Michael began his life's journey on Oct. 19, 2009. He was born to the union of David and Sabrina Jaramillo at St. Luke's Hospital in Chicago, Ill., weighing 10 lbs. and 12 oz. He accepted Christ at an early age. He was baptized at the Christian Life Center under the leadership of Pastor Christian Shields. Michael also served and worshipped at Kingdom Encounter Church under the leadership of Bishop Robert L. Green. Michael departed his life on July 4, 2021. Services will be held Saturday, July 17, 2021, at 3 pm at Corinthian Baptist Church in Des Moines, Iowa.
Michael attended Boulder Peak Intermediate School in Marion, Iowa. Michael was a fun, loving child. He loved having fun with his brothers, cousins and friends. Michael enjoyed playing his violin and reading the bible. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Michael leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, David Sr. and Sabrina Jaramillo; his brothers, David Jaramillo Jr. and August Jaramillo; grandparents, David Jaramillo and Patricia Roa of Chicago, Ill.; grandma, Rose Johnson; cousins, Tommie Pettie Jr., Jordan Pettie and Nyla Pettie; best friend, Connor Orr; and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kathleen and Tommy Pettie Sr.; his aunt and uncle, Nicole and Tommie Pettie Jr.; and his aunt, Maria Pettie.
