Strutts to Celebrate 65th Anniversary

On March 19th, 1951, the Dennis the Menace comic strip had just

appeared in newspapers across the U.S., a gallon of gas cost 19 cents, and Joanne Reese said "I do" to Donald Strutt during a 6 p.m. candlelight ceremony in Dodgeville, WI. Fast forward through 11 presidents and

65 years, and Don and Jo still enjoy every day together. The Strutts moved to McGregor, IA in 1952. Don opened Strutt Chiropractic Clinic, where he worked until he retired in 2011. Jo led the Methodist church choir for over 60 years. Don and Jo have a large family (that is continuing to grow),

including 5 children: Charles (Janet), David (Marci), Dawson (Jackie), Craig (Terri) and Darci (Mike); 23 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
