Wahlert's Till will undergo surgery

DUBUQUE -- University of Iowa women's basketball recruit Claire Till will undergo surgery on her knee next week and will miss the remainder of her senior season at Dubuque Wahlert.
Till's mother Shelley confirmed the surgery Friday morning, saying it is cartilage-related.
A 6-foot guard, Till plans to play in tonight's game at Dubuque Senior. She is averaging 13.7 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, shooting 53 percent from the floor.
She committed to the Hawkeyes last summer.
Wahlert is 9-4 overall, 5-4 in the Mississippi Valley Conference. The Golden Eagles trail Cedar Rapids Washington by a game in the Mississippi Division.
