On Sept. 4, Larry & Joleen Twachtmann of Marion will be observing their 60th anniversary. Larry & Joleen (Hansen) were married at Peace Church in Bennett, IA, on Sept. 4, 1955. At that time, Larry was serving in the Marine Corps & Joleen was completing her nursing degree at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Larry & Joleen were blessed with 3
children: Todd (Susan) Twachtmann of Marion, Heidi (Jeff) Hansel of Marion, & Kristin Hawkins of Des Moines. They also are the proud grand-parents of 7 grandkids.
To celebrate their anniverary, Larry and Joleen recently returned from a trip to Alaska. In addition, a family dinner is forthcoming. The gratifying journey continues.
