FilmScene to show former University of Iowa swimmer’s documentary

“The Water is My Sky,” a new 75-minute documentary from Brian Tremml, a former University of Iowa swimmer, will be screened at 6 p.m. Sunday at FilmScene in The Chauncey, 404 E. College St., Suite 100. Tickets are $11 adults, $8.50 for ages 60 and up, ages 12 and under, and UI students, available online at https://icfilmscene.org/calendar/
Part of FilmScene’s Filmmaker Spotlight, the screening includes a dialogue with director Tremml and co-director Tommy Haines.

With the Olympics coming up later this month, the film’s website says it “dives deep into the world of elite competitive swimming through the lives of three swimmers swept up in the hunt for a shot at Olympic glory.
