Armstrong a newcomer, but not with children
The Gazette Opinion Staff

I support April Armstrong for Iowa City school board. Although April will be a newcomer, she is definitely not new to working for our children. April has been involved in everything from serving as Weber Elementary PTA president to being a member of the district's Facilities Advisory Committee. She has been a board member on the Weber Education Board, vice president of the University Preschool board and board treasurer on the Weber Before and After School Program.
April has a refreshing approach to the issues facing our schools and expect she will demonstrate a fair, open-minded point of view.
