Agriculture Secretary and former Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack says Iowans should vote to retain three members of the state Supreme Court.
The Des Moines Register reports that Vilsack spoke Sunday on a conference call sponsored by the pro-retention groups Fair Courts for Us. Vilsack says if judges are afraid of losing their position because of political issues they will stop making decisions based on facts and law. Vilsack says Iowa judges address issues "fairly."
