Wendl, Mayme Rosalyn
Mayme Rosalyn Wendl, age 92, of Rochester, Minn., formerly of Nashua, Elkader, and Cresco Iowa, died Sunday morning, Sept. 27, 2009 at Sunrise Cottages in Rochester.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 Wednesday at St. Michaels Catholic Church, Nashua with internment in Cavalry Cemetery, Cresco.
Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hugeback and Chenoweth Funeral Home, Nashua where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. scripture service. Visitation continues 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Online condolences for Mayme may be left at www.hugeback

Mayme is survived by three sons, Gil (Connie) Wendl of Charles City, Ron Wendl of Rochester, and Steve (Cindy) Wendl of Anamosa; two daughters, Diane Foley of Rochester and Judy (John) Bengfort of Winona, Minn.; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; a brother, Lester (Jean) Houdek of Lakeville, Minn.
