WILLIAMSBURG - A Class 3A District 6 matchup for the second round of the state playoffs pits district runner-up Williamsburg (9-1) against Clear Creek Amana (5-4), which placed fourth in the district. Williamsburg defeated the Clippers, 35-23, in a regular-season meeting.CCA advanced with a 22-15 upset win over previously unbeaten and ranked Union Community in the first round. Williamsburg handled Maquoketa 56-27 to reach the second round.Williamsburg will kickoff. CCA will be going from left to right on this blog.Raiders gets an interception on third and long. Williamsburg squibs kickoff but CCA stands around and watches while the Raiders recover on the CCA 36. With 5.8 seconds to go in the half, O'Rourke hits Chance Miller on a slant and with time running down, just about everyone expected Miller to go down quickly to set up a timeout and a last-second field goal by kicker Tim Jones, but he broke a tackle and got in the end zone for a 36-yd TD as time expired.
