Blues & BBQ canceled in North Liberty

North Liberty's fifth annual “Blues & BBQ” event has been canceled due to the aftermath of severe weather that passed through the area this morning.

“Three tents shredded, portable toilets were blown over and the beverage garden turned into a lake,” event representative Cheryle Caplinger said in a press release.

A fireworks display originally slated for the event this evening is also canceled. No rain date is scheduled.
