Driver suffers life-threatening injuries, Cedar Rapids police say

CEDAR RAPIDS — A single-vehicle rollover on U.S. Highway 30 near Interstate 380 has resulted in “serious injuries” for one of three people involved, police said Monday.
The driver, a man, was transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics with life-threatening injuries.
Two female passengers suffered what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash, which occurred at 3:25 p.m., blocked traffic from southbound Interstate 380 to Highway 30, according to police.
The accident remains under investigation, according to an update on the police department’s Facebook page.
