Reynolds demonstrates steady leadership

Gov. Kim Reynolds cleared her first hurdle as our governor and handled the state's budget incredibly well. Where Democrats chose to play politics and stoke the flames to call for a special legislative session, Reynolds held steady and stable. Because of her, and her predecessor, the budget remains balanced, and the state's bills are being paid on time.

Furthermore, I applaud her efforts to bring good-paying jobs to Iowa. Unlike other states, our economy is moving and people are getting jobs. And companies like Apple, Google and Microsoft are choosing to invest in our state. With Reynolds' leadership, students like myself are able to find high quality jobs right here in Iowa.

I trust Gov. Reynolds and her leadership to run the state efficiently. The past few months prove it.
