Crews responding to Cedar Rapids natural gas leak
A 6 inch gas leak has stalled traffic near the 2000 block of First Ave East.
Cedar Rapids firefighters say a construction worker may have hit the gas line.
The leak was reported around 2:15 p.m., and is near an apartment building.
Firefighters considered evacuating the area, but officials were able to repair the leak quickly.
