John "Jack" Kaufman, 86, of Robins, died on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at the Dennis
and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy. Visitation will be held at noon on Tuesday, July 6, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. A livestream of the service may be accessed on the funeral home website under the obituary for John, under the video tab starting and 2 p.m. Inurnment at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Jack was known as the "Legend." He played rugby at fifty and did not care about the rules. He loved to play softball and attend the reunions. The many motorcycle trips to the East Coast and Colorado with Nancy. He loved playing poker, especially the game "No Peek." His passion was his family and being the first one to be there to help.
Survivors include his children, Tammy Lien, Jo Lutz, Jill (Tim) Ferguson-Johnson, Mike (Tara) Kaufman and Dana Wiegert; brother, Tim (Shar) Kaufman; sisters, Connie Broell, Sue Thompson and Mary (Gloria) Kaufman; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; spouse, Nancy; son, Kent; and brothers, Wally, Jim and Jerry.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Oldorf Hospice House or Susan G. Komen.
