Benters, Larry E.
Larry E. Benters, 60, of Bertram, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. A Celebration of Life will be held at noon Saturday, March 3, at the Bertram Town Hall. Burial at a later date in Campbell Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Coonfare; and a sister, LaVonne Prespare of Fresno, Calif.
Larry was born Dec. 18, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Jack and Beth (Wilkes) Benters. On Sept. 22, 1984, he married Mary Coonfare. He worked for Iowa Manufacturing and enjoyed computer games and movies.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Dennis.
