A big thank you to all the responsible citizens who denied this ridiculous (extension) of the local-option sales tax again. A normal person would think the City Council, whom we have entrusted to make responsible economic decisions, would eventually understand that no means no.
We are all fed up with the misappropriation of funds this city administration engages in on a daily basis. Now, the beloved convention center weighs in at $25 million over budget, so far.
It wouldn't surprise me at all to see this council alter phraseology and attempt to slam yet another option tax vote on us soon to pay for askew city bids, and everything else “they” want. Just say no!
