Democratic Central Committee supports JoCo bond issues

The Johnson County Democratic Central Committee has passed this resolution: 'The Johnson County Democrats support passage of the $33.4 million bond issue to erect and equip a County Courthouse Annex located adjacent to, incorporating and connected to the existing historic courthouse. We encourage all Johnson County citizens to vote 'yes” for the Courthouse Annex on Nov. 4.”

This annex will address important issues of safety, security, improved protection of public documents and timeliness of service for Johnson County residents. It does so while respecting the historical beauty of the current structure. Putting off needed infrastructure improvements is penny wise and pound foolish, often leading to higher costs in future while ignoring the critical needs of current citizens.
