VanDeBerg, Faye E.
Faye E. VanDeBerg, 85, of Hawkeye, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at Palmer Lutheran Health Center in West Union. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 2, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hawkeye, with the Rev. David R. Nelson officiating. Friends may call from 4 until 7 p.m. today at Becker-Milnes Funeral Home in Hawkeye and one hour preceding services at the church on Friday. Interment will follow at Alpha Cemetery.
Faye is survived by one son, David (Joanna) VanDe Berg of Sumner; two daughters, Kathleen Hyman of Cedar Rapids and Denise (Greg Roecker) Reinig of Harlan; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Elaine Pape of San Jose, Calif., and Dorothy Walker of Paradise, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Davey in 2007, and her parents.
