Sen. Cruz delivers what he promises

To the editor:
I had the opportunity to meet Sen. Ted Cruz before his run in Texas. I was so impressed I volunteered to help with his run off. I have watched him serve the people of Texas and how he has delivered upon every promise he made on the campaign trail.
One of the more frustrating things is to watch candidates campaign stating what they will do only to see them run from the opportunity once the opportunity presents itself.
Sen. Cruz clearly has not. In fact, he stood up to his own party while filibustering to defund Obamacare, perhaps the single most important moment to eliminate it since its implementation.
Sen. Cruz is unashamedly a Christian, clearly weighs his votes against the constitution, willing to take on what Americans believe to be important while respectful to all whom he addresses. He has fought to defend Religious Liberty, Second Amendment Rights, U.S. sovereignty and government overreach. He supports a flat tax where every American could file upon a post card and eliminating the IRS.
Sen. Cruz also stands with Israel, supports traditional marriage and state rights as defined by the Constitution and the 10th Amendment. It is due to his outstanding record and character I have chosen to support Sen. Cruz right out of the gate and invite voters who have felt disenfranchised or lied to for their vote in the past to jump on board and support a Cruz victory today.
