Picnic in the Park was a delight

Thank you to the Marion Arts Council and everyone involved in planning for the Picnic in the Prairie concert at Lowe Park on the evening of Aug. 23.
Great music, visiting, children playing, a quiet sunset, amphitheater acoustics and the compelling sculpture above the stage made a delightful experience for the hundreds of people in our lawn chairs.
Please make this an annual event.
