Cedar Rapids plowing update
Here's an update on plowing on Cedar Rapids streets, from public works director Craig Hanson:
Public Works have over 80 plows working the storm. Crews are clearing the main streets and then will work on the residential areas.
Crews will do one clearance today. With the snow still falling as the residential work starts, there will be addiitonal snow on those roads when crews complete. That (snow) will be cleared next week.
