On Aug. 19, my wife and I went to a movie at the Collins Road Theatre. I had only a $50 bill, but when I tried to pay, I was told they didn't accept $50 bills. It was very frustrating to me.
We were getting ready to leave when a man behind me in line, reached around and laid a $10 and two $20 bills on the counter for us. Before I could thank him, he had disappeared. What a kind soul to help someone in need! Thank you, from a veteran of World War II.
