Juvenile injured in shooting near SW Cedar Rapids Casey’s Tuesday night
CEDAR RAPIDS — A juvenile was shot near a Casey’s on Tuesday night, according to a news release from the Cedar Rapids Police Department.
At 9:16 p.m., police received information that someone had been shot in the area of 501 Sixth St. SW, which is the address for a Casey’s General Store.
Officers found a juvenile with non-life-threatening injuries. The juvenile was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said.
No arrests have been made in connection with the investigation, which is ongoing.
