Dixie Lee Darrow Loss, 84, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died peacefully in her home with her daughters by her side on Monday, June 28, 2021. She was born April 11, 1937, the beloved child of Owen and Eleanora (Schuerer) Darrow. Graveside services: 1 p.m. Thursday, July 15, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in the garden of Evergreen section.
Left to cherish her memory are Robyn Dawson and Pamela (Jim) Jensen; her grandchildren, Bevin (Christian) Dawson-Fink, Lyndsay (Jordan) Gaffey, Brandon (Katie) Dawson, Jase (Alexis) Jensen and Christopher Dawson; her great-grandchildren, Alexander, Cameron, Aden and Liam Dawson-Fink, Graham and Avery Gaffey; precious cousin, Sue Curry; and best friend, Dawn Heller; and many cousins and valued neighbors.
Waiting for Dixie in heaven are her parents; husband, Bob; in-laws, Laverne and Mardell Loss; and her fur babies, Sophie and Teensy.
