Apply brakes on carbon emissions

Nearly every country in the world publicly acknowledges that Earth's carbon dioxide level must be kept below
450 parts per million (ppm) to avoid climate catastrophe. We have less than 25 years before we hit 450 ppm.
Just as a speeding car must start braking well before it slams into a cement wall, we have to start applying firm pressure to the carbon brakes within the next four years or else we'll hit the 450 ppm wall. Alarmingly, however, the “drivers” of our planet are bickering too much to notice that our car is about to crash.
Call your driver (Rep. Dave Loebsack, Rep. Bruce Braley or Sen. Chuck Grassley) and tell him to pay attention and hit the brakes.
