Grell, Michael L.
Michael L. Grell, 57, longtime resident of this area, died Thursday, June 27, 2013, at a care center in Muscatine, Iowa.
Mike was born June 21, 1956, the son of Richard and Ruth (Tharp) Grell. He attended schools in the Iowa City Community Schools, graduating from West High School. He worked with his father in the construction business most of his life in this area.
His family includes his father, Richard “Dick” Grell and his wife, Mary, of Iowa City; and a brother, Ricky Grell of Coralville. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth; and a brother, Bruce.
No services are planned. Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service cared for Mike's family and his arrangements.
