MARION, IA - DeWayne and Mary Ann Becker will be celebrating on their 50th wedding anniversary with a Picnic Open House hosted by their children on Sunday, August 2, 2009, from Noon to 3 p.m. at Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church in rural Marion. Also, in August they will be celebrating by taking an Alaskan cruise.
DeWayne Beckner and the former Mary Ann Palmer were married on August 1, 1959, at the First Presbyterian Church in Marion, IA. Their four children are, Julie (Mark) Miller, Alan, David, and Kevin (Allison) Beckner. Their five grandchildren are, Adam, Ryan, Jordan, Blane and Chloe.
