Rep. King hypocritical on debt, defense

Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, was on C-SPAN recently, bellyaching about President Obama's national debt. What did President Bush, King and the other Republicans do with President Clinton's surplus? They had control of Congress then.
King wants a strong defense. Will he tell Mitt Romney's sons to enlist in the military?
