Plumbing bill means no heart medicine

I recently had some plumbing work done. They did a good job and did a few extra things at our request. The total bill was $1,603. Some of the work amounted to more than $200 per hour.
Our economy isn't very good and I guess one takes it when he can get it. But now I have no choice but to do without my heart medicine for two months. We are all in this together.
