Kernels host 2011 community events

This spring and summer you will have the chance to enjoy the atmosphere of Veterans Memorial Stadium while the Kernels are not playing baseball. Each year the Cedar Rapids Kernels host numerous events at the ballpark in support of the efforts of organizations throughout the community.

Upcoming events at Veterans Memorial Stadium include a visit from Augustana College business students on April 28, hosting of the IIAC Baseball Tournament May 12-15, Arthritis Walk to raise awareness on May 21, and the Metro Baseball Tournament on May 25.
