UPDATE: Police are investigating a double shooting in Waterloo that left one victim with life-threatening injuries.
It happened at 1:13 a.m. today at 413 Ricker Street.
One victim, John Marvin Panham, 58, was on the ground in front of 413 Ricker, where he lived, and had several gunshot wounds to the torso. The other victim, Terence Terril Dixon, 27, of 1762 Flower St. #1, Waterloo, ran to a nearby home at 315 Quincy St. with gunshot wounds to the left arm and abdomen.
Parham was taken to Allen Memorial Hospital for treatment of what Waterloo police described as "life-threatening" injuries. Dixon was taken to Covenant Medical Center for treatment.
Police have not made any arrests, but continue to investigate.
This shooting comes on the heels of a double fatal shooting at a Waterloo liquor store last week. That shooting was a robbery gone bad.
