Woman shot early Saturday in Marion
MARION — A woman was shot in the leg early Saturday at an apartment complex in southeast Marion, police said.
Marion police officers responding to a call about a loud noise at an apartment complex on Chapelridge Circle at 4:26 a.m. Saturday learned that a woman had been shot in the leg, according to a news release from the police department. When police arrived, the woman had already been taken to a hospital, the release said.
The woman, who was not identified by police, was treated for injuries that weren’t life threatening, the release said.
