Saylor, Shey a must to offer new perspectives
Aaron Saylor and Pat Shey are the best people to help create balance in the new city hall team.
We need people who will work well with the city council and offer another perspective compared to that of Mayor-elect Ron Corbett.
What does Mr. Corbett know of the city council rules and regulations?
Does he know why people were camping out at Hawkeye Downs after the 2008 flood and not allowed into FEMA trailers? What are his volunteer activities?
FEMA and Jumpstart money is beginning to come into town. Our city council worked together for the past 18 months following all instructions in perfect sequence for this to happen. Credit must be given to them for their hard work.
Mr. Corbett may be accustomed to being in charge and delegating his wishes. That is why we need Mr. Saylor and Mr. Shey to balance out our city council and work as part of the team.
