Sioux City police say a standoff ended peacefully after officers took a man into custody.
Police were called to an apartment complex late Monday where they found David Luiken, who had allegedly threatened neighbors and refused to comply with authorities.
Police say there was a brief standoff before Luiken was taken into custody. He was taken to the Woodbury County Jail.
No injuries were reported.
Jail officials say Luiken is charged with domestic assault, failure to obey a police officer and disordered conduct. He remained in jail on Tuesday. No bond had been set pending a court appearance later in the day. It was not immediately known if he had an attorney.
