Good character, values earn Ernst a vote

I will vote for Joni Ernst for U.S. Senate because I am impressed with her accomplishments, her good character and her Iowa values.
Rep. Bruce Braley has touted the fact that he is a lawyer and gets much of his campaign money from trial lawyers.
My dad was a lawyer, but not a trial lawyer. He was the kind of lawyer you would hire to read a complicated contract to make sure you were getting a fair deal. If you hired a lawyer to read a contract and he advised you to sign it, then told you he hadn't bothered to read it, would you hire him?
When Nancy Pelosi said, 'We have to pass the (health care) bill so that you can find out what is in it” (YouTube http://youtu.be/hV-05TLiiLU), not one representative or senator should have voted for the Affordable Care Act. Anyone who voted for that bill, having no idea how badly it was written, has lost any credibility to represent the interests of the people of his/her state. The ACA has proved to be a poor piece of legislation because no one read it and no one got to argue its merits.
I vote for Braley to return to law school and study up on the responsibilities of an attorney to his clients.
