Patriotic concert was a delight

What a wonderful evening we enjoyed at the Voices of Hope Patriotic Concert.

We are so blessed to live in this beautiful state of Iowa.

New Covenant Church is a great venue for this event. There was plenty of space to park and a wonderful auditorium.

As we drove past the lush cornfields that had been slightly blown over by wind, but will rise again and produce a world supply of harvest, we talked about the great power of God.

Our thanks to the musicians who had practiced many hours and were to give three performances, both the active and retired servicemen who participated and also were honored. The entire program was well- planned and never an off-color remark or innuendo.

Our Founding Fathers were given due respect and so was God.

Everyone involved should be given a hand of thanks.
