All have same rights — no exceptions

Recently, I read that Iowa Republican Party Chairman A.J. Spiker thinks the party should be a “party of laws” and oust Iowa Supreme Court judges who, in his bigoted words, are “deceitfully instituting laws when they have no justification.”
The justification for the recent judgment to support the rights of all Iowa citizens is found in Iowa's Constitution, Article I, Section I, Rights of Persons, as follows:
“All men and women are, by nature, free and equal, and have certain inalienable rights - among which are those of enjoying and defending life and liberty, acquiring, possessing and protecting property, and pursuing and obtaining safety and happiness.”
All men and women are equal and have the same rights - enjoying life and pursuing happiness. The Constitution doesn't say all straight men and straight women. All means all, even a group Spiker might not like. I want to believe that all fair-minded Iowans will see through his bigotry and support our exemplary judiciary and its Constitution-based decisions.
