Iowa City Realtors group names Jaben as executive

The association executive for the Greater Mason City Board of Realtors has been named to replace Cheryl Nelson following her retirement at the Iowa City Area Association of Realtors.

Jaben has been association executive for the Greater Mason City Board of Realtors for 11 years. She has been honored by the National Association of Realtors with its Omega Tau Rho award and the Iowa Association of Realtors with its Presidential Merit Award.

Nelson will be retiring after 11 years of service to the Iowa City Area Association of Raltors. The association's board, in a prepared statement, expressed gratitude for Nelson's vision and guidance.

Jaben has also servedon the board of directors of the Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank and is currently completing the Chamber Community Leadership program in Mason City. She will move to Iowa City with her husband, Keith.
