Cedar Rapids police ask for help identifying theft suspect
CEDAR RAPIDS - Police are asking for help in identifying a man in connection with a theft in early August.
Public safety spokesperson Greg Buelow said the man, pictured in several surveillance images, is believed to have committed the theft between August 8 and 9 from an unspecified business in the 1500 block of F Avenue NW.
The department also posted the surveillance images to its Facebook page, a move Buelow said had already led to additional tips for investigators.
Anyone who can identify the suspect is asked to call Cedar Rapids police at (319) 286-5532.
