God did not create evil
The Gazette Opinion Staff

God created perfect humans and a perfect world called Eden. God wanted his creatures to love and obey Him of their own free will. God did not create evil. Satan and the fallen angels disobeyed God first, and then tempted God's most beloved of all creatures, man, into disobeying as well. Satan has just one goal: to steal, kill and destroy man (by taking away their eternal life in heaven) (John 10:10), whom God loves above all creatures.
God did not create a person to be homosexual, anymore than He created another to be a murderer, child abuser, vicious gossip or thief. All people are born sinful since the fall and this causes us all to live contrary to His good and gracious will for us (Romans 1:24-32). We all sin every day and the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). That is eternal death, separated from God forever in hell.
Only one can save us from our sins, the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation is found in no one else. (Acts 4:21)
The only difference between Christians and the rest of the world is that when Christians sin, we are forgiven by the blood of Christ and are no longer enemies of God. Jesus is God's free gift to the world. He died for the sins of all people. Accept His love and be saved.
