Rock Island Clean Line an investment in Iowa's future

The Rock Island Clean Line is an investment in our future. I read the anti-Clean Line group's talk about stopping the project because Iowa doesn't need the electricity. Iowans need the construction and the manufacturing jobs that a project such as this will create. Don't they realize the number of wind towers we could build if we had a way to move the electricity they generate to an area where it is needed?
There are at least 15 manufacturing facilities in Iowa that build parts for wind towers. They employ Iowans. Once the towers are built, more jobs are created by the maintenance that these towers need. Let's build the Rock Island Clean Line and support Iowans with good jobs that we need. It is time to invest in Iowa's future.
