Duane A. "Schmitty" Schmidt, 81, of rural Arlington, Iowa, died on June 19, 2021, at Maple Crest Manor, Fayette.
Funeral service: 2:30 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2021, at St. John Lutheran Church, Arlington.
Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Arlington, and for one hour before the service at the church on Friday.
Interment: Taylorsville Cemetery, Arlington.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for St. John Lutheran Church.
