No one fixing Iowa after 2 generations

Another legislative session, another session with our representatives singing a familiar song: 'We cannot fix Iowa because we are running for re-election.” Iowa's 'Congress” closed the 2014 session with no bill to fix Iowa's roads/bridges.
This is frustrating for me as I drive Highway 52 to work. Rebuilt in 1984, five years later, it needed repairs, then five more years later it was patched. Now 30 years later, it is a piece of crap, as bad or even worse than in 1984.
Two generations have passed with no one fixing Iowa. They are running for re-election and bowing down to the Iowans for Tax Relief and their screed 'no more taxes.” Every one of them should be banned from using Iowa's pitiful roads. You don't fix them, you cannot use them or get anything on them.
I think the ITR wants Iowa's drivers to use horses and buggies on muddy (no gravel or cement, too expensive) roads. At least there would be no SUV's doing a hard 90 on them.
