TOLEDO, Iowa – A pharmacy was burglarized early Thursday morning, and the unidentified subject (or subjects) managed to escape with pseudophedrine, police said.
According to Toledo police Chief Jeff Harnish, dispatchers received the burglary call at 3:36 a.m. and arrived at the Medicap Pharmacy, at 108 Second Ave. W, to find a glass door had been smashed at the front entrance of the store.
No object was located at the scene indicating what was used to enter the building, Harnish said.
He added the value and amount of pseudophedrine that was stolen is undetermined.
Harnish said investigators are working to review surveillance video footage, but noted it has not been released yet.
