Community service could help with trash problem

In response to the March 26 front page “Trash duty” and the March 28 editorial “Trash problem is everyone's task”: What if everyone in Iowa drawing on the welfare system, collecting food stamps or out on probation gave 10 hours a month toward community service? Simply put, help with the cleanup.
