Allow yourself the time to obey traffic laws

Those speed and red light cameras are needed and are not entrapment. No one coaxed or lured anyone into such violations. Drivers just do them on their own and intentionally. What is the ratio of enforcement officers per number of drivers? Maybe it's like one per 10,000. Regular enforcement of an officer catching one offender at a time cannot handle the great numbers of them.
If there were no stops or turns within 10 miles, it would take 10 minutes to go the distance at 60 mph, 12 minutes at 50 mph, 15 minutes at 40 mph. Most drivers could start out a few minutes earlier and obey the speed and red lights and get to their destination on time anyway. I don't think the average person understands that time-distance thing. I didn't understand it myself a long time ago.
Those speed cameras should be movable and hidden and used everywhere. Every sparsely populated county should have at least one that could be set up in various areas. Heavily populated areas with more drivers need more of them.
If those cameras are reducing the crash rates, then more power to them.
