Would ‘reasonable and prudent’ work better?

As Sheriff Terry Branstad and his legislative posse saddle up to do away with those darned pesky cameras, let's suggest they do real reform. Not only could we be rid of threats to our liberty with the passage of a law or constitutional amendment banning speed and red light cameras. They could be really bold and do away with posted limits, stop signs and traffic lights.
We could go back to the “reasonable and prudent” limit of speed on Iowa's free and open roads. We all know what that is. We could play “bluff ‘em” at intersections and catch me if you can, where a real live aw man has to actually see me committing infractions. Come on boys, saddle up to protect our “liberties.”
