MidAmerican to acquire three Iowa wind developments
MidAmerican Energy has agreed to acquire three wind farms under development in Iowa that will provide 407 megawatts of wind power.
The Des Moines-based utility said Friday that it plans to acquire the 103.5 megawatt Vienna wind project in Marshall and Tama counties from RPM Access and both the 200.1-megawatt Eclipse Wind project in Guthrie and Audubon counties and 101.2-megawatt Morning Light project in Adair County from Clipper Windpower Development Co.
