Counterfeit bill turns up at Eastern Iowa Airport

Police recovered a counterfeit $20 bill Wednesday afternoon at The Eastern Iowa Airport.
Police say a person was paying to have their luggage checked at the counter when the fake bill was presented. Officers interviewed the person, who said it came from their bank, which is not in Cedar Rapids.
The person was not arrested and will not be charged, police said.
