The closest Arizona Wildcats quarterback Matt Scott has come to Iowa was the NCAA Football video game.
From
this story in the Arizona Republic:
Scott created a franchise team a few years back, and - during the course of a season - drew the Hawkeyes.
"I beat them in the video game," he said with a smile.
One of five reasons Air Zona is grounded includes this from the Arizona Daily Star: Scott's strength is in his legs.
That means he is a good runner.
Trevin Wade is Arizona's Tyler Sash, interceptions-wise. At least he was last Saturday against Northern Arizona. Actually, he was Brett Greenwood. Wade had two picks, matched by Greenwood in Iowa's win at Iowa State. Sash had three INTs in that game.
"I can catch," Wade said, "so I just catch the ball any time I get a chance."
Wade plays cornerback. Sash and Greenwood are safeties.
Arizona Coach Mike Stoops has downplayed the homecoming aspect of this game. He played and coached at Iowa in the 1980s.
"I'm not that nostalgic," Stoops said in this Arizona Republic story.
